(PCA Tajikistan: Article 2)

Article 1 (PCA Tajikistan: Article 2) Respect for democratic principles and fundamental and human rights, as defined in particular in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the United Nations Charter, the Helsinki Final Act and the Charter of Paris for a New Europe, as well as the principles of market economy, underpin the internal and external policies of the Parties and constitute an essential element of this Agreement.
